Description
Carbocisteine is a white or almost white, crystalline powder. It is practically insoluble in water and in alcohol. It dissolves in dilute mineral acids and in dilute solutions of alkali hydroxides.
Application
Carbocisteine can be used in chronic bronchitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and bronchial asthma and other diseases caused by thick sputum, expectoration or dyspnea. It can also be used for postoperative expectoration difficulties and pneumonia complications.
