Ofloxacin is a pale yellow or bright yellow, crystalline powder. It is slightly soluble in water, soluble in glacial acetic acid, slightly soluble or soluble in methylene chloride, slightly soluble in methanol.
Ofloxacin is the third generation of quinolone synthetic antibiotics.
