Moxifloxacin Hydrochloride is a light yellow or yellow powder or crystals, slightly hygroscopic. It is sparingly soluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol (96 per cent), practically insoluble in acetone.
Moxifloxacin Hydrochloride is a fluoroquinolone antibacterial drug. It can be used to treat socially acquired pneumonia caused by Staphylococcus aureus, influenza bacillus, pneumococcus, Moraxella catarrhalis, pneumoniae bacillus, etc., acute attack of chronic bronchitis, acute sinusitis, etc.
