Phenazone is a white or almost white, crystalline powder or colourless crystals. It is very soluble in water, in ethanol (96 per cent) and in methylene chloride.
Antipyrine is an antipyretic analgesic with strong antipyretic, analgesic, anti-inflammatory and anti-rheumatic effects. It is also an analytical reagent, used for the analysis of nitric acid, nitrous acid and iodine, for the determination of the elements forming complex cations, for the determination of titanium by gravimetric analysis.
