Description
Allopurinol is a white or almost white powder. It is very slightly soluble in water and in ethanol (96 per cent). It dissolves in dilute solutions of alkali hydroxides.
Application
Allopurinol is an anti-gout drug. It is suitable for various diseases such as gout, acute or chronic leukemia, which are primary or secondary serum uric acid.
